Just picked up my car from the mechanic. (If you didn't know a week ago my airconditioning compressor broke off my car and was dragging on the road from the refrigerant lines) Anywho, 950 dollars later with a new Compressor, dryer, lines, tensioning bar, and 2 punds of GENUINE R-12 my A/C blows an astonishing 36 degrees fahrenheit on full blast. Is this normal?

If it isn't just let it be and run it on low, I wish my a/c got that cold...

Sounds pretty normal to me. I have to leave mine on 28C in the morning to keep from freezing to death. In the afternoon I do leave it at 18C, but then I'm in Houston, Texas heat index today 110F. Thats like 104F + 90% humidity.

At least I now know how much Im looking at when I get mine redone next summer. Cant wait.
