You're correct, the badge is added, there was never a "S" on a turbo S in 88. Maybe that's the "carrera S" one. And mine does have a sunroof and 10spk stereo.

Looks great, I am thinking of titanium wheels myself.

Randy, she looks beautiful. Where did you get that S badge? I may get some new double sided tape and stick the turbo badge back on if I can have the S also.

I forget, what did you do about wiring up the driving light side? With my headlight package and 100 watt H3s in driving lights, all getting good voltage, you can light things up over a mile down the road. You are now way better than new Bimmers and Benzes running HID. Get ready for everyone trying to follow you at night for your light!

Oh, you may want to get the dead tail light cell upgrade, I have a few sockets left at the local VeeDub dealer. It is a nice little and cheap upgrade that is pretty simple to do and looks quite nice.
Thanks Ice, the "S" is just off a Boxster S, but you gotta reposition the "Turbo" properly a bit to the DS.

The Euro lights are wired with 4 guage with a fuse backed Hella relay to switch power. I got hold of a OEM DL switch for the empty dash socket next to the fog light switch. I did not use the take off from your harness as I installed these lights some months ago. Yes, the light cannon output is now amazing - thanks for the simple instructions on aiming the lights!

Did the "dead cel" fill in at the tailights way back too, looks a lot better with a the "L" IMHO. Easy too. Another easy mod I found somewhere was to activate the HK flashers in all lighting modes other than when you have the fogs on and main beams off (I think it was from either Perry951 or Iceshark). Just required a mod to a relay and a jumper in the fuse box. That was handy. I'll post it if I can find it again.

Randy, well my turbo badges are off at the moment so a reposition is not a problem.

Yep, got fed up pplishing the raw alloy on the rims all the time, and sanding out small nicks. It's tough to get a good color that goes with the Zermatt Silver, as it's such a great color. I went with a GM color so that it would be easy to color match in the future.

The 2 most difficult things were picking out an appropriate dark shade of "titanium" and MASKING the rims. I cut a thin cardboard template and used that to create 20+ sections of 2" painters tape to go around the base of each spoke for symmetry. It took over 4 hours to mask all that properly! Oh, make sure you clean, and prep the rims before you start masking, so the masking and painting doesn't go to waste. Used something like Prepsol or laquer thinner to get all the oil, grease, etc. off the rims before you paint, like any other paint job. Then mask, prime, paint, clear coat and let it dry. I picked a hot sunny day and let the rims heat soak in the sun for a few hours - paint flowed extremely well as the rims were pretty toasty to the touch and probably close to 200F after sitting in the sun!

Hint, shoot a quick coat of CLEAR on all the masked edges BEFORE your first primer coat and the tape and you will have a very clean edge when you pull the tape. Good luck.

here's a pic

ICE, if you need new DS tape for the emblem, use the proper 3M stuff. Let me know if you need some, I still have a few feet of the right stuff 3/4 wide waterproof about 1/32" thick. Shoot a quick coat of satin black on the old emblem bf you put it back on - looks amazing, better than new!
