Dan, do you have access to the internal parts for AFM's? If you put together 'rebuild kits' for AFMs (really all that is needed is the ceramic board and air-temp sensor) that would be killer! I will check to see if the ceramic board has a Bosch number on it or not.

Simpson, No, the e-mail didn't come through.
I checked and here is the deal. I can get you a rebuilt real Nippondenso alternator for her car for $180 to you. And have it drop shipped for about $15, these are sort of heavy. So total $195. No sales tax as you are in NYC. There is no core exchange requirement on this so no monkeying around with that extra shipping cost.
I called around and the local Lexus Dealer wants $575 for a rebuilt. LOL! These bastards are crazy! PepBoys wants $229.99 and the core. Not sure what PepBoys will give you as the rebuilt, may not actually be Nippondenso.
So that is it. I got on the "A List" for pricing with my supplier through some sort of fluke, probably since I sell more of the adjustable Bosch voltage regulators than anyone else in the world. A guy from their headquarters actually called me to ask what the heck I was doing to sell so many.
