Crap this is driving me nuts. I am completely re-painting my n/a '44. Opinions on the best colour?
In the running:
-Black, Red, Orange, non-metallic medium blue
I have a black car now, looks so sexy when clean but 1 day later looks like crap... for that reason was looking to change to something fresh.
Just so damn indecisive

Really liked this. "Feeling" it... but it's fricken black again. What colours stay "fresh" the longest? My wife's white car seems to have much better lasting ability.

beware. any color except for the original will leave all sorts of evidence of a repaint - I did this once, I changed a green 356 to red - it was very hard - inside door jams, underside of hoods, underneath dash, all sorts of hard to get to places - once in a while I still find some evidence of the original green. so, in my opinion you are largely stuck with the original color. You can mist a little bit of a tint or something onto the black to make it shimmer or have a different character, but painting it blue will (if you are like me) drive you insane.
