Who manufactured the 104mm pistons for the 968..was it Mahle??

Yeah I think Mahle made some 968 pistons.

The latest workshop manual says Kolbenschmidt made them. Perhaps at some point in the production run Mahle stopped making the pistons.

yes, I would agree a piston metalworker made the pistons
