Back to the question at hand, the S2 suspension will indeed bolt on the 87 Turbo. The rear shock is a direct bolt on...the front strut is too but you will need to use the S2 spring and upper perch as they're a bit different than the turbo.

Thanks Jason, sorry I missed you while I was in the area. I am getting the entire strut assembly including the mounts and spring. I am going to hold on to the other stuff to do the Koni conversion on for later. For the price I figure I cant go wrong.

I believe there were some slight changes between the '88 951S and the '89 951, but I am not sure what they were.
Basically, they are the same car.
Also: I was just throwing out the 89 - 951 (no S) as just a bit of trivia!
