Dead BOV :( NEED HELP ASAP
I know this has been posted MANY times but just wanted to clarify-
I have the BOV in hand and can blow through the vac hole and the right angle hole. I shoulden't be able to blow through ANY hole right??
So far these are the "low budget" options I have seen:
Saab: 0-280-142-110
993 BOV
What year 993?
Any other cheap reliable options?
Will it be okay to wait to replace it for 3-4 days - - I think it is makeing my turbo spin extremly fast on little throttle boost situations (I can hear it whine --- SEE: Police Sirin? Turbo Noise? )
Thanks
Chris

Yeah, you shouldn't be able to blow through the openings. The diaphram is torn. I wouldn't worry about driving it for awhile in this condition. I believe several guys have said that the SAAB BOV is constructed better than the 993 one. If you go with the 993 just ask your Porsche dealer what the part number is for the updated BOV for the 951, this is the 993 one and starts out as 993.xxxxxx.
