Okay.. Ive searched over 500 topics looking for turbo options. (Didn't find much) I think my turbo will be in need of replacing soon and wanted to know my options. Stock, mod-stock, and completely aftermarket. I want to do the replacement for $500 or so. Basically want to know what upgraded turbos are available (if there are any) for about $500. (Bolt-on would be nice since I will be doing this myself). Found Speed Force's turbo options out of my price range. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris

A stock rebuild from Magestic Turbo in Waco, TX is $360 - $380. I think they can do some magic for an extra $100 you have for headroom.
If you buy a used turbo, it's a crap shoot as to if you will be back where you started from or not. With what it takes to install a turbocharger on these cars, I'd go safe and rebuild the stocker if you only have $500 to throw at it. Double that $$ and you could find a pretty good unit from one of the tuners.
