I was just reading Probst's book on Ford fuel injection, and the drawings and photos of the VAF (AFM) sensor equipped cars looked just like the Porsche sensor, and the book claims they use a Bosch sensor. This RX7 meter looks similar:

Maybe there is no crossover after all. BTW I did a search on car-part.com, there are a lot of them out there for $50-$75 so maybe it doesn't matter.

Hey Steve and co:

I posted a new thread about my AFM...

Got it out of the car with little to no problems (just dirt). Popping off the plastic cap was a PITA with the silicone and years of sticking time, but it finally popped.

Looks like my resistors have been wet or something...?
