Ian, would you mind giving us some ideas on what you want for the stuff?

I am interested in the hubs/spindles, as I stripped some threads on one of my rears trying to get to this &%*(%# bearing that came apart inside the trailing arm.

ian, I was interested in the brake, I PM'd you about them. If you can sell them, go for it, I'd rather get the hat style. I've been looking at going with some big ole Brembos too. Sorry and thanks.

man, i would love those wheels
im looking for a set of cups like those for my 944S.. graphite is even better.. but the stock color is fine, its so hard to find them. but those 86 wheels wont fit my offset will they?

unless of course i changed the hubs/spindles and got your brakes right? lol.. now thats just not worth it. damn it!

those wheels rock

""""Matt,

I do have a couple offers in on the hood, but i remember your post from a couple weeks ago, the one thing I have been thinking about during the day today is what I really want for this car, and thats either a fiberglass or CF hood.

I'm not positive on that detail, but I know that loosing weight is important to me in this process....

We will see where the process goes.

I'd be interested in offers on just the hood, w/o trade.""""""""""""""""""""""

Ian-
what would be reasonable. I want to make it worth while to sell but I still have to paint it, no big deal, just a little time. Let me know how much for it and the transmission, as it looks like I need one.

Ian, sounds good, but i'm pretty sure i could get a real set for around 700, plus you say those'll need tires... so i ahve to think about total expense. i have a set of 16"x7" all around fuchs... MR AVIONICS - are you interested in these??? if i could get 600 for those and the tires i'd really like to get your wheels if you could lower the price a bit... i've been jonesin for cups for a long time, i wouldnt even mind replicas.

let me know whats acceptable, and if i can get rid of my 16" fuchs i'll gladly buy those from you.

thanks!

Ahh as for prices:

The wheels like I said I would like to get 700 for, but will take offers, 600 is too low, so maybe we can find a middle ground....

For the hood, i'm still doing some thinking into the price of a glass good and what it will cost to get it mounted, I may have to wait a little while to sell it until I have the funds to do the vented hood the way I would like.

The brakes, for the brakes, hubs / spindles, and pads, I would like to get 550 dollars, I have seen them go for more, and have seen them go for less, but for 4 calipers, 2 rotors, pads for both front and rear and hubs and spindles I feel that it a fairly good price.

The tranny, well as I was looking for it last night, I remember it is out on loan to a rennlister to help him till his tranny is running right again, so that is going to have to wait to go up for sale....

Erich,

The gear box runs and shifts well, but it is not a LSD unit, I would be hoping to get around 600 for it. A far cry from what a factory LSD unit will go for at around 1500 in similar shape.

Thanks!

It is a local rennlister, just an hour north of where I am, i'll ask him and see if he has any plans on when it is going go be done with it.

Miles on it, is anyones guess with these older cars, I can tell you that it has a an oil cooler on it and is out of a 1986 951 that had about 170k on the clock when it came out. No racing time.
