A/C Relay?

A/C Relay?
Summer - its about here and my AC does not work.
before I take it in to have a diagnosis done to it I want to first be able to get the A/C compressor to kick on.
As I understand it (and that may be not much) if I turn on the A/C the Hi fan should kick in correct? Mine does not. Does that mean the A/C relay could be to blame? And does that also control the compressor turning on?

I assuming you mean the compressor clutch. It spins freely.
I will check to make sure there are no loose wires. How many wire. Injections are three?
And,is there a fuse to check. I couldn't find one labeled for the AC.

the compressor will not run because you have no refrigerant in the system. It has probably leaked out the front seal on the compressor. the press sensor is under the driver's side headlight, bypass momentarily (a second or two) to see clutch pull in, then recharge the system like you need to anyway.

Hi, I pulled a vacuum and checked that there was no leaks before charging. I got about 80 psi on the high side without the compressor engaging so there is freon in the system. I'm hoping that it's the relay.
