Question How do I plug this...?

I went under the car and removed the entire test tube. So now there is an open hole in the cross-over pipe where that tube went. I bought a 12mmx1.75 cap nut to cap it off...but it doesn't fit. It is SO close to fitting, but doesn't. It should be about a 13mmx1.75mm cap nut. I can't seem to find anything that'll fit except the tube/nut itself. I cut most the tube from the nut, so I putting it back isn't really an option.

Is there a cap nut that'll fit? If so, where can I get one? I looked everywhere for a larger cap nut but can't find one that will fit.

Topic: Crossover test pipe

I removed mine too. I don't think it helps in keeping underhood temps any lower. The cap you want is # 930.113.153.00. Since my local dealer wanted $25 for this stupid little cap, I discovered closed-end wheel lug nuts sized 14mmX1.5 fit perfectly & didn't leak.
I went with the factory 930 cap because it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
