The minority report might be right. It's a pain to change the shocks/struts, re-align, and THEN to wonder if something used is gonna break. Too risky to save money, especially since most of the time, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime replacement for our cars.

I won't get involved in the new vs. used debate...personally I like new , but the turbo strut will indeed bolt onto an S2 and vice versa. As was mentioned though, the S2 spring and perches were different so you have to move things as a unit....i.e. Turbo Strut, spring and upper perch.

Not to hijack this thread, but is it possible to buy the coilover front kit from Paragon for use on my sealed strut Koni Yellows? Right now it's running 200# weltmeister springs and I'd like to bump it up to 300# and 28mm torsion bars. But I'm not sure if the coilover kit will fit the struts I have or if I'm gonna have to spend another $200 some on new ones..which is gonna decide how soon I can buy the stuff.

Anybody know? They're the Koni Yellow sealed struts that were originally purchased from Paragon.

Aren't the strut perches like $400 each Jason?? In other words, is paying $275 for the set a bargain if I need to buy a bunch of other stuff (springs, perches, etc)?
