I think I do, I have asked this question before and I get allot of "yeah you can cheaply mod a 951 to 300hp!"

Have not driven a 951 so can't compare but I'm starting to think for putting around town on the weekends my N/A may be a better car for my application.

there is no factual proof to back up my argument but based on my many personal experiences with both cars I like the NA in the 'quick turn' department. When it comes to a long stretch of freeway off ramp, the 951's brakes, suspension, and power are way superior to the NA.

Yes, I agree. That's essentially what I was saying a few posts earlier. The 951 doesn't turn in as eagerly as the 944NA and understeers more. It's almost as though the factory deliberately dialed in more understeer into the 951 to keep you out of trouble because of its much higher speed potential. Maybe all this has something to do with why Car & Driver naming the 944 NA as the "best handling car in the world" back in the 1980's.

If we are comparing stock suspensions, I think the 951 wins hands-down. Modified with some nice springs and struts/sways, the 944 does well with the lack of weight and turbo lag/boost........
