Default Passenger power seat not working

Here's a weird one...my passenger power seat is not working at all. The person I bought them from swears they were working when removed. Here's what I have gathered so far:

Driver's side is working perfectly so I don't think it's a fuse issue

All the seat wiring and harnesses look ok.

It's an 8 way seat and the seat is dead in any direction

I had to splice the wiring back together b/c the PO had cut the wiring harnesses when he removed the stock seats.

I shorted it for a second when two bare wires got a bit too close so I know the wire is live. The fuse did not blow because the driver's seat is still working.

Any ideas what else I can check before I start going through the pita of checking all the wiring? Is there a separate fuse for the pass seat that I don't know about?

If the power connector on the seat was taken apart, the pins could have easily been put back in the wrong set of holes. Just a thought.
