Turn Signal Help - Atten Iceshark (or any one else)
I addded the blink to my side markers, the problem is on my right front side marker blinks very dim, and it affects my rear side marker as well. But when I turn on my parking lamps all is okay for front and rear.
Have I used the wrong wire from my front turn signals?. I used the black/green one.
Any one can chime in here.

You have things hooked up right, Donald. Did you install the new front blinker #1157s I sent you? As well as the rear #1156? Do that first as the filaments may be worn. Otherwise I suspect your right hand side turnsignal wires may be corroded.

Yeah, give that a try first. Who knows how old your bulbs are. And clean up the socket contacts when you put in the new bulbs.
I sent your bulbs out on the 25th via USPS so you should see them any day now.

Okay, received Iceshark's kit, and the new bulb worked with a little cleaning of the old socket. Now off to install the deadcell sockets, and will probably hook them up to the running lights.
Now that I have alternating blinkers in the rear, I think I am going to paint the rear turn signals red. Will these show up red when lit or will the orange prevail?

If you use the Testors Transparent candy apple red (#1605) it will turn red and the amber will not show through with the bulb lit up. Which is fine since a rear red turnsignal is legal and red matches with your other rear lens colors including the side marker. Actually, now that you have blinking sidemarkers it might look sort of goofy with two lights a foot apart blinking, one red and the other amber.
When you paint it only make one or two spray passes. The tendency is to put it on too thick and then you need to strip it off with acetone and start over. That is what happened to me, anyway.
