Parts List for a CV Axel Replacement for an 86 951
I noticed some knocking coming from the passengers side rear and the PO mentioned that the CV joint is due since the drivers side CV axles have already been replaced in my 1986 951.
As I plan out the parts list, I have a few questions for the forum.
1. Are the 944 and 951 axels the same for an 1986 951? I was thinking on getting the entire assembly vs. the CV joint kit.
2. Where can I get schnorr washers? Is this a dealership piece, Napa, or just use the existing washers? I plan to get new bolts.
3. Where can I get moon washers or should I just reuse?
Any advise would be appreciated. I am trying to get my orders right the first time.

Just a buy the hole axle for $90 on eBay.
