maint

I have the dash out of my 87 924S and am replacing the heater vent hose to the left dash vent. I have to replace it because it was impossible to remove it undamaged from where it was run. It was squeezed above the steering column so tight it was crushed. This also makes it very hard to connect the speedo cable. I would think that it was run there by mistake but this is the second time I have seen it done. Did Porsche really run it there and is there a better way to route it ?
