Does anyone know of a good body shop in the Harrisburg, PA area? I leaned on my battery the other day and it moved So I started poking around and removed paint, body filler, fiber glass and some other substance that I could not identify. When it was all said and done, I have a silver dollar size rust hole thru my inner wheel fender, and a hole big enough to drop a grapefruit thru right onto the feet of my passenger. Needless to say the little water leak i had before, is really bad leak now. Anyone with a suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

if you can afford it, take it to a body shop. I hear it will cost about $500 to fix correctly.

You can make a pretty effective repair using smoke glass fiber cloth and use POR 15 instead of resin. you clean the hole and paint the edge and any exposed or corroded metal. Then lay down the cloth and paint over it so that it overlaps the the edge of the cloth. Make sure it is well saturaded. When it is tacky, lay down another cloth and repeat coating. Let it dry overnight and you are done.

This has worked to repair some area in alfa romeos Ive had in the past. Stops the rust degradation permanently.
