Default Clutch noise?

Wanted to get peoples opinion on what I might be going bad.
When I first start out in 1st gear I get a sound that is not grinding and not exactly vibration from what I think is the clutch. It goes away as the rpm's increase. It is also present at idle when the car is in nuetral. Any suggestions? Is it the throw-out bearing? Is this difficult to replace or expensive?
regards,
meach

Working on the clutch is relatively inexpensive, but there is a TON of labor involved. You have to remove the transaxel, half-shafts, shifter, exhaust system, clutch slave cylinder, starter, speed and reference sensors, move the torque tube back, and then remove the bell housing.

A clutch kit with new pressure plate, clutch disk and throw out bearing will run around $500.00.

My car makes the same noise it may be the torque tube bearings. Does anyone know where you can buy a t-tube rebuild kit with the bearings?

Hey Cliff,
Thanks for the reply Is that number for the parts only or having the shop do it? I guessing the parts only...I haven't worked on these much, this does not sound like a do-it yourselfer?
