Default great looking turbo on CL

http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/4326445112.html

Stumbled across this on CL today. I think it may have been for sale a while back with a steeper pricetag. Thought you guys might appreciate it. Not mine of course. Beautiful color.

A $16k Turbo "S" with 27kmi on the clock? That's CHEAP. Every "s" I've seen is around $14-16k with over 70kmi.

It's burgundy though...

agreed. $16k for a 27k mile '88 951 isn't bad at all.

I saw this car on Craigslist over a year ago when I was shopping for one. He was asking a lot more at that time - I think around $21 - $23k. And I don't think it's an "S". I think it's a non-S 1988 model.

It is the cleanest 944 I've ever seen though. There used to be a link to another website that had about a hundred of photos of the car.

If you are going to buy a 951...this is the type of obsessive freak you want to get one from.

I still shy away from low mileage Porsches...$16k + needed maintenance can add up. Those original parts are 25 years old...beautiful car though.

I'd rather replace old rubber and belts than seats, carpets, wheel bearings, turbos, etc since those would have miles on them as well as age.

If I had the spare cash I would buy this car.
