Count me out. I've got to return to Katy after work to let the dog out! Yes, that is a legitimate excuse. My daughter has to work a long shift today and she normally handles the doggie door duties. So, the wife and I need to head back so the dog doesn't explode or something.

Default I'm out

It's 1:30, and >SURPRISE!<, my pager went off. I've got a ship to go to tonight. I will not be at the kart zone.

IF I get the ship done quickly enough, I may still go to Sam's. The problem is I'll be east of the beltway on I10. I couldn't get further away if I tried.

Damn, I really wanted to see James's new seats. Another time, I guess.

Default As if one wasn't enough

The pager sings again....

Now I've got two ships to close tonight. It'll be 10 before I'm done with these two. That pretty much stamps out any hope for fun tonight.

Sorry George,

I did get through the ships fast enough to go to Sam's. I hadn't been to one of the meetings in several months. There were only 8 people there including me. Looks like you had a better time.

Maybe next time I won't have to work.

Hey Brian, no sweat. I'm sure we'll do it again. I'm buried at work too. I ducked out earlier than I should have. I'm going to pay for it today with a very long day.

Sorry I missed it. Got to add a dog door soon. Bandit is cutting into my social life (yeah, right).

Well I would have been there but the friggin A/C went out Monday at 3:00 by the time I got home to check it out it was after 5:00 and 90F in the house. I would have rather been anywhere else.

Next time.

Oh man, that SUCK.

I came back from a vacation one time to a non-operative AC (buzzing like a hornet's nest). I had to wait about15 hours to get it fixed. Argh!

I feel for you.
