Default removing sport seat and making a chair...help/suggestions?

what size allen or hex bolts are holding the seat rails in ? i dont have the money to buy a whole set right now for my ratchet. im going to take my sport seat out and make it into a comfy computer chair for the winter while the car is stored. I know at least one person has done this before and posted pics and maybe a description a while back. I can't seem to findthe post. i'm gonna try to find a crappy comp. chair to mount it to. i suppose ill just have to buy some pieces of metal and drill holes accordingly to make an adapter. I cna only have one or two good chairs in my dorm room and i want to have the best

Wow, no one answered you in a year!

I took the drivers seat out of my 968 a month ago. I started out with a allen wrench but after almost stripping a couple of the bolts and getting very frustrated I bought a set of allen / hex sockets. The 6mm was the one that did the trick. That and a 12" extension.

944's may be different but I bet yours are 6mm as well.

I made a chair, but I believe the rails are different for later years.

the tool set that came with my car came with an allen that could handle the seats. not sure if that was what it was intended for but it worked
