The clips may need to be redesigned for that material however since it is less flexible than the t-glase. But all-in-all, very well done.
where can I buy one of these?

Reach out to KVDR above. He was the one originally making these.

These were a lot of work to model and print - the tolerances in a lot of areas are very unforgiving. Each piece usually had about 30 minutes of post processing (adjusting with knife) and trial assembly with mating parts.

The filament is also difficult to print with, and if the bed height isn't set just right the print would be over or undersized considerably for the faceplate.

I've had a lot of requests for these again, but I can't bring myself to make them the same way again. I know some other people are looking around to get these printed elsewhere - I hope they are successful.

I would share the 3D model, but it is not accurate for the actual frame - it has all kinds of little custom adjustments so that it would print just right on my specific printer, print head, and filament. There's also errors/bugs in the Autodesk Fusion 360 model since I was learning as I went (bad references, adjust one little thing, whole model breaks).

Maybe making a mold of a good one, and using resin would be the best way forward - then you get a truly clear finished product.

I'd be willing to give it a go. I now own a Form 2 which should help with the tolerance. Could you share your 3D model? I understand that you modified it to work with your printer and that it is not exact to the OEM parts. But it will be a good starting point.

And if anyone has an OEM part they could send me for this project, I'd appreciate it.

Hey Nate - I don't think the Form2 has a big enough build volume...? Going off memory here, but I think these things are about 9 inches long...

Form 2 needs to build parts ideally in a diagonal orientation for resin drainage. At 9 inches it should fit fine on the diagonal

I didn't realize there was a 3d printing thread for the 944. Here is a replacement cluster I designed to house a 7" android head unit with my specific application (electric 944) using instrumentation that sends Voltage/Current/Temperatures/Speed via bluetooth to an app.
944 Cluster on Thingiverse

I also have a blank cluster that could be used to mount custom gauges or whatever if you cut holes for everything, or just modify the STL before printing.

Nice work! What printer do you have? I want to get something bigger than my current ones

I have a Prusa I3MK3S and a Creality CR10S-PRO, the cluster was printed on the Creality, I wish I had a slightly bigger build volume so I didn't have to print it at such a weird angle to fit in the build area.

The Prusa is a workhorse, the Creality is awesome when it's working well.

I've been making parts for folks on an ad hoc basis. What are you interested in having made?

You can download the files from thingiverse or whereever you find them and have them printed by online dedicated printing services, then you can have steel prints as well, which you normally can´t get from hobbyists like myself
