Default Brand Recommendations

U bought a URO brand dme relay in a hurry then read some bad reviews..also bought FAE reference /speed sensors.not getting any tach bounce from the new ones.reinstall the old ones.get tach bounce?What are recommendable brands for DME relay, Speed/Reference sensors,oil filter and air filter?

The DME relay that Pelican sells is the proper one. I bought two and use one as a spare. Mahle filters for me and Bosch ref sensors. When it comes to electrical stuff on these cars, going with Bosch usually gives you the quality and confidence you need.

I'd recheck the plugs on the ref sensors for continuity before tossing them. I had one good connector and one bad one (broken plastic). I replaced the ref sensor (male side) and replaced the female side with a new connector. It involved some soldering but it worked.

I bought Uro DME relays (2) and so far, so good.
