Hey folks....just joining this forum after having been a member of the 928 community. I have a recently acquired 1987 924S that I am planning to play with so I'll be reaching out to you a lot in the near future.

I'm currently having my alternator and starter rebuilt. Has anyone powdercoated their starter? My understanidng is the stock starter has magnets mounted to the internal case. This concerns me as to if they can handle the high heat of the powdercoating.
