Default Will 911 cup 1 wheels fit?

I know there is lots of info on wheels available but much of it is like reading a different language...I am looking at picking up a set of 1994 911 c2 cup 1 wheels (16x6.5 and 16x8.5) and just want to confirm they will fit my 89 S2 with no issues?

Here is a good link with wheel info for most P-cars: http://www.wheeldynamics.net/appguide.html

Excellent link! thanks again!

I am not normally one to change wheels but I think the Cup wheels will look good with the factory calipers which are hidden with the wheels the car came with.

A good friend of mine is running those wheels on his 90 S2, except they are 7 front 8 rear, I believe, from a 968.

Looks great.

They will fit, but I would wait for a set of 944 offset wheels. The 16x6s are going a bit narrow for the front of the 944, and also are going to be slightly more inset in the wheel wells (12.7mm further inboard).

The OEM cup 1s came in 6,7,8,&9 inch widths, they didn't do 1/2 inch sizes in that style wheel: http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

Already paid for...should I look into spacers? If I go with spacers do I need longer lug nuts?

You would need longer wheel studs, they are press fit into the hubs. The max spacer you can use with the factory studs is 5 to 7 mm (some debate there).

But really unless it bothers you, just leave it as is.
