WTB: OEM Seats (sport or regular)
Lookiing to purchase period correct seats for my 1991 944 S2. I believe the interior color is "Linen." Open to sport or regular seats from 944, 968, 964 or MY1986-1989 911. Last resort would be to purchase a crappy core set of sport seats and recover in color Linen vinyl or leather. Let me know what you've got. TIA

From: one thousand, five hundred miles north of Ft. Lauderdale for the summer.
for the 924/944/968, a lot of stuff ends up looking period-correct, imo
even the late 993TT Sports Seats look great in our cars.
all seats on you radar are damn comfortable
the key is keeping them in good condition, imo.... cloth is really comfortable, but leather lasts longer.
and there's even plenty of Recaro and Sparco aftermarket that also don't look too out of place.
win/win all the way across.

Heres a pic of them from an older for sale ad - disregard that it says they're in Columbus.

I have a pair of 8-way adjustable seats out of my 89 turbo in linen. They are in good working order, drivers seat shows some wear, removed from the car at 80,000 miles or so. The color is off in these pics due to a camera setting or something, the seats are the same color. PM me if you're interested and we can work out the details, located in Madison, WI.

Those seats are light grey and I have also heard them referred to as mushroom. I have heard Linen, Lt. Grey and Champagne all referred to as Tan, but they are very different.
