Default need opinions about wheel size

i am considering purchasing a set of wheels off ebay - the 16" 993 wheels. they are 16x7 front and 16x9 rear. they look nice and would dress up the appearance. my concern is that a 9" rear wheel would increase my car's understeer.

i do have the 27mm front and 19mm adjustable rear sway bars, so i can make the sway bar stiff to compensate. i mostly drive the car on the street, with some autocrossing here and there. what do you guys think about the change in handling dynamics with these wheels?

I have 2 concerns.

I tried 993 aftermarket wheels on my 951S and after only 2 PCA club race weekends I had destroyed the rear wheel bearings. I think it was due to the offset differences.

You will need to severely compromise your handling by using excessive swaybar adjustments to balance the car because you will certainly have more understeer. Can you change your spring rates and still compete in your current class? if so you could use a heavier spring in the rear vs the front to counter the difference and your car would handle better than it does now by using heavier springs than OEM.
