Ron and Chris, I just got a chance to see it. Man, you guys definitely outdid yourselves. The soundtrack and choice of tracks was top notch, and for just throwing it together like you said it is truly cool. We'll have to include accomodations next year for tripods and more cameras and I'll get my friend's portable DAT for some engine music. Again, good job guys.

You may have noticed my mirror mount lipstick cam... I was unable to use it during the cruise due to lack of setup time, but I made good use of it during the track days the next weekend. What editor/compression did you use? I have a hard time getting a 30 sec clip of reasonable resolution to stay under 10K KB... Is it divx?

its a WMV so windows media video ? i think... i'd advise using DIVX though... or xvid either, just make sure you encode it at a lower resolution or reencode to it. i used adobe premiere but to convert to WMV i just edited the file in premiere and encoded to DV/AVI which is 1:1 so pretty huge, then just drug the file into windows movie maker and then encoded again using one of the specified presets in that.. i think it was LAN 768 kbps.

I'll have an in-car cam for the next 944Fest, now that I have a harness bar(thanks again DanP and Cuz) I can't down load it, dial-up, something about, a few years to download? lol, I'll have to get a copy from you guys at a cruise-in or something.

Andy next saturday at dayton maybe?

I wish I could get a harnessbar for that reason to get video.

I want to get a rollbar with a cammera mount that is movable so we can keep it steady yet let us move it (passanger) so we can look around. Hey if anyone wants to make this and send it to me that would be alsome so next year we can truly out do ourselfs and make it amazeing... (also we will get cammera's in other car's) ... We need to do like an auto X track to so we can get some footage of some 944's sliding around..

Great video. Sure wish it was a little closer, looked like an incredible time. Great to see that many running together, must have turned some heads!!! Maybe we can get a few guys from down this way to make the trip next year.

Say Ringo....Mr. computer....

What's the deal, all I get is sound, no video.

Anyone find a patch for this problem....?

I installed an update to my system ini. file under drivers called i263_32drv that's supposed to fix the problem but still no video......WTF....?

Anyone...? (Win/98 second edition)

Terry I'll email you the fix or a link where you can get it.

Yea, it is pretty wild seeing that many examples together at once. We just got back from vacation, drove 5500 miles across the country and only saw 2. Wish I could have been there. How about we do something like this a little farther south..... We have got to have enough guys on here down south to have some kind of get together once a year.

Yeah, I'll say: I had to stop watching half-way through: I almost tossed my cookies!

Seriously: two quick pointers:
1. STOP ALL THAT ZOOMING IN and OUT!
2. Invest in a camera that has image stabilization.

Interesting video, though: never saw so many 944's together!
