I have those same wheels with 255/50 G-Force sport comp tires on the rear. Bit of sidewall, but the speedo was a bit optimistic with the stock 215/60r15 tires, now its just about right.

Another option, though not as good of one, would be to run R888s which come in a 245/45 and are notoriously oversized. I wager they'd be a about perfect. Thats the route I'll be going once the 944 is off daily duty.
