July 26 gathering lives again?!?

I'm becoming a doubtful. Went on a wonderful mountain ride in NH with PCA Downeast Reg this weekend and something gave in the back. I'll look at it tonight but am guessing on shocks rubbing for some reason (hoping its not the tranny mounts). Depending on what it is, getting parts, getting them in, and hoping I was right in the first place-yadda yadda yadda.

How does the attendance look? I agree with the above, that I could get some work done on my car vs attending a small event. If there are alot of people coming, please let us know!

From the looks of the emails and posts I recieved, I'm planning lunch for 60 people. This has become much bigger than I had ever planned. Granted, I need to plan for several maybes, but most are positive of their attendance. Only time will tell though. My guess is well over 20 cars.

60 P-car heads?? Sounds like it'll be a great day -- the weather will even be good, according to the weather channel!
Now all we have to worry about is long lines (filled with those esoteric German sports car types!) at the ice cream place.

Yup, I was shocked at the tally. I counted my email messages several times just to be sure. Many are still maybes and late shows, but many more are acceptances. Should be a grand time. My wife is out right now buying a ton of burgers, dogs, and Bratts. BYOB if desired also chairs. I hope my yard is big enough. I should be able to park several cars on the grass diagnally and most in front of those on the street. Overflow and non Pcars can park at the ball field at the end of my street. Don't know the ratio of Proper Porsches, Tail Draggers and Waterpumpers, but no mater it still should be fun.

Wow...awesome!
I'm in! I just didn't want to drive 6 hours in a day to see 10 people, no offense to those 10 people who it might have been.
Damian, you should definetely go....bring the wheel, we can install it there!
