More new parts here!
Well, I'd initially received he incorrect alternator, but thanks to the super effecieicy of Lone Star Overnight shipping, at 8:30 this morning, the doorbell rang, and there on the porch was a nice box with an 944 alternator in it!
The incorrect one will be going back, and this one popped in the car today. Also, my new nech guy is down in his back, BUT he sent his DAD
in his place, and he's almost as fast as his son.
So when he heads out this way today, the 944 will be running again (YEAH), and the MB will have new starter/alternator put in it now too (both went out Monday morning 1st thing).
Hopefully he'll be finished with the VW diesel truck, so that can get going again. Too many cars in surgery at the same time!
