Default Small issues with door handle and lock on my '91 S2 Cab

Was hoping someone here had a similar issue before I start taking the door apart and exploring.

1. Driver's door locks car and engages alarm system but can still open driver door and alarm goes off (but passenger door is locked). Is this a bad actuator?

2. Passenger door opens fine from inside, but from outside door handle doesn't work. It used to sometimes catch but lately has decided to completely stop working. Again, issue only arises when using outer door handle, from inside there's no problem. Anyone know if it is some type of broken link or rod or what else might be causing it?

Appreciate any advice/input.

It is easy to pop off the door panels off and have a look, to see if it is something easy to fix, drivers door sounds like a possible actuator or adjustment, passenger door may be a handle or adjustment issue. I had to do the drivers handle on my 86 Turbo...first symptoms were hard to operate and open the door

there is a separate linkage from the handle to the lock - it probably fell off

Perfect thanks! I figured it had to be a linkage for the one side.
