Default 944 in movies

I tried searching but didn't find a thread with movies the 944 was in.
The 80's movie "Sixteen Candles" was on tv yesterday and the main guy had a 944 which saw plenty of film time.

Post them up!

Beast master 2 has an S2 cab. No clue what the movie is about, just watched the car scenes on YouTube. There's a good amount of footage with the car though.

I used to work for a guy claiming to own the 944 from Sixteen Candles. It was an '83 with the "Grand Touring" package. The car had less than 25,000 miles on it. He said he bought it off a doctor who bought it from the production company.

How true that is, no idea. I did drive the car once. It was about as immaculate as an early car could be.

At 2:34... that figures, the 944 driver helps with the overheating car... he knows how to diagnose and fix any water cooling problem

Haha never thought of it like that. But this car NEVER overheated, and I mean never. I was driving this around on location scouts out in the mojave desert in the middle of summer, never got close to going hot... My S on the other had, very different matter.
