I have a story, this happened literally 45 minutes ago...

I was getting coffee with a cute girl I've been chatting with recently, and I gave her a ride in the 944 (which she adores... I'm keeping her). If you scroll down a little on the forum, you'll see that I've been having problems with my thermofan switch, and so I just have it unplugged for short drives before I start running too hot.

Anyway... I'm stuck in on-campus traffic (poor planning on my part) and the inevitable happens. I had to pull over, jack up my car, and plug in the switch. She ended up being really impressed with my "skills" and there's a second date this weekend

Sure. But I think I'd need a ghost writer to clean it up for publican. I figure it'd be about 4 typed pages of material to choose from. Or better yet, a phone conversation or two with a journalist?
Lots of pretty good pictures to chose from as well, I guess. Had it since '04, so there's some history there.

Hello,
First off let me start by saying what a great idea you have, it's finally time someone started something like this.
Now I know of a guy in South Carolina I believe that would love to have a spot in your first issue. I can't remember his name but Travis from Rennbay works closely with him and he is also providing me with a turbo tranny and lsd for $1200 out of a 120k mile car. This guys has parts cars galore when it comes to the series of cars that you are talking about. I think it would be of great benefit to everyone if he was given a space in the first issue. He also has full turbo front clips for just $1000 when others are selling new turbo bumpers alone for $1000. I really think you need to get in touch with Travis at Rennbay and have a talk with this guy, I think his name is Brad come to think of it. Also, I'm currently doing an LS conversion which is why I need the tranny and lsd so once I'm done I would love to put an article in detailing everything that I went through and everyone that I worked with so that they can get some attention as well.

I also sent this in a PM to you.

This would also be something really good to publicize at the next 944Fest event, maybe even make it to where if someone attends the Fest they get a hard copy of the magazine.

Man, I keep on thinking of things to add after I have posted something. There is a guy named Jason Gonzalez who has built 944s from the ground up that might have some info to add to the mag, and some great stories. He also races a bit too. You can reach him via https://www.facebook.com/gonzofishes. I can't remember if he has an account on Rennlist but I know he has one on 944online.
