Post Oil Dipstick Housing Oil Leak--Help!

I was thinking that I did myself a huge favor by installing the Powerhaus Baffled Oil Pan. The pan they sent me was apparently from a 1986 Turbo since it did not have an oil level sender and the dipstick hole was slightly larger and looked different in the hole (extra ledge). Now I can't seem to stop oil from leaking out the hole. I have tried a variety of 0-rings to no avail. The size of the hole seems to be too big for the dipstick housing. I have added gobs of RTV blue gasket stuff, which stops the leak for about one day. Can anyone help me, since I am tired of wiping the puddle of oil off my garage every day, and the burnt smell of oil on the crossover pipe is making my wife upset. I tried calling PAP, but they said they have no dipstick housings for a 1986 turbo. Does anyone know where I might find one, or have any other suggestions? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

That sux. My suggestions without seeing what you got...Clean both parts well. (Brake clean works well)

JB weld will work well to fill in the space.

Good luck.

I did not know that they were diffrent size housings.

You could try a dismantler to see if someone has an '86 dipstick tube.

I would not JB weld, when you need to take it back apart, that will be a bitch.
