Question 951 Engine rebuild

I am wondering how many people have found that when they rebuilt their 944/951 engines, they were able to re-use their pistons ? Or is it common for cylinder bore wear / taper to be excessive enough to require rebore and oversize pistons ?

I think I read in one of the boards that the 951 had a ceramic coating on the cyclinder bores. Is that correct ? And if it is what is the best way to handle cylinder honing or reboring for oversize pistons?

Wayne
