Question Head Gasket set

Besides the actual head gasket and cam cover gasket, what else comes in the head gasket set? I'm assuming there are also intake manifold gaskets (4) and exhaust manifold gaskets included. But what else? thanks

Lets see... all the seals for the cam tower, intake and exhaust gaskets, valve stem seals, o rings for the cam tower plugs, the all 3 coolant gaskets, and the head gasket.

There might be more.. but I think that is it.

Have Fun!!!

Perry & Ribs,
Thanks for the reply. One more question, did you use new head studs and other hard ware when replacing the gaskets? i'm switching the head with another one and want to do it right. Also, as long as I'm setting everything to TDC and nothing moves, I'm good to go right? I don't want to crush these valves! Thanks for the support and experience.

I went with new studs. I had re-torqued my stock ones 3 times and had one stretch almost 1/4".

When I was torquing it, I could feel a little less resistace, and knew it was done.

With replacements, you never need to worry about it, and can re-torque as many times as needed.

As far as the TDC, set it before you put the head on. Set the cam to TDC as well, and watch it while yoy bolt it on to be sure it does not move. Then check it many many times before you roll it over, then roll it over by hand a few hundred times. Then check and check and check.

Oh.. don't forget to check.

Really.. it is not that hard. Everyone always flips out about doing the belts and stuff. Just take your time.
