I was hit in the front right and need to replace my bumper, fender, and fascia.
It is possible to put the turbo front spoiler on the 944 w/ the addition of new lights? will it fit over a standard 944 bumper? The car is a 88... any model years won't fit? Because I have to replace bumper, and fascia I would like to give it the turbo look, but don't know if and how this is possible. thanks

tk,
There are several places which sell the turbo front-end treatment for your N/A. Try AIR, GT Racing, and Performance Products. Although be forewarned, as I think it is Cobbs who has the Performance Products turbo nose and is/was having a very tough time getting it to work on his N/A. Good Luck.

I have heard so many different nightmare stories over the past year that I personally decided to not do it on my NA. Either the aftermarkets do not fit correctly or the final cost is absurd (above $2000!) If you do want the turbo nose, a partial list is:
2 Front fenders
Front upper valence
Bumper supports
Aluminum bumper insert
Bumper cover
All lights
2 Front fenders
Front upper valence
Bumper supports
Aluminum bumper insert
Bumper cover
All lights

I have installed both the GT Racing and the AIR units on cars. Race car that is. They look OK for that application. But I would not put it on my street car. They are difficult to install and there is a lot of prep time. And it will never look perfect. The only way it will is to install a complete front end from a turbo. See Jeremy D. @ my944 for part list. $$$$$$$$

Another problem with the glass products is stone chips. If you think you have problems now wait to see the front end of your car after a few weeks in pothole country.
