Some are also knee deep in Holiday stuff ?
I was thinking after the Christmas break ?
But... maybe the week of the 19th 20 and 21st of Dec ?
Last time we did a Chilies, parking lot meet, and then did dinner....
Any thoughts guys

I will be installing an M Tune in my car next weekend so a drive is out for that weekend. I think Arash might be coming by to help as well. I would be down for a Chilis get together during the week or weekend. Have to eat after all.

I'm a new 944 owner, I just bought one last summer and it's up on the lift while I put in a new clutch, motor and transmission mounts, but I hope to have it back on the road soon, maybe a couple more weeks. It'd be great to meet a few local drivers at Alice's sometime, I'll subscribe to this thread and look for dates that would work.
That picture you have in post #1 of highway 9 at 35 is only a few miles from my house, nine is my favorite road. I haven't driven it in the 44 yet, it was driven out from Florida by a friend but limped in, so I don't have any experience with it. It's a NA S2 3 liter.
Soon as I get it working I'll be sure to show up
Maybe I could just drop in without it, I'd like to talk to some of you about what you've done.
If anyone has tips and tricks on S2 clutch jobs I'd be more than happy to hear them. I've got the exhaust out, reference sensor is gone, I'm about to attack the torque tube & transaxle. I'm a little confused about the WSM instructions on disconnecting the shift linkage but expect I'll figure it out with luck and some meditation.

Just BS'ng you Arash. I won't even bring a 944, my street car is a 928 until I make contact.
BTW, I did find a solid tube at EASY, so no sweat if you're busy.
