Real quick help - ground wire on this light for the gauge.
I don't get it. It says if you're on a metal surface blah blah blah, ok, I got that, i'm not mounted on a grounded surface. It shows the wire going from a stud on the gauge to the 'ground chassis'. But on the light it has this little washer thing around the back of the light and a black wire coming out w/ a cut end, like the red one. Do I just take THAT wire and run it to a ground? OR do I take it to the stud, then another one to the ground... DOES it matter???!
