So I talked to the salesman, so I gave my price and he should decide by Wed. We shall see. I lower the price since it's not much history he can put on table. So in the end its like to buy cat in the bag , although car look good even I'm nit bug fan of burgundy, but in those years, all car had strange colors.

I said 5 grand, but he offered to me 6.5, which is not bad, but transportation across country will be around 1,000-1,200 bucks.

I think 6.5 is worth it. 8.8 was a little high for me, but she drove well. Aside from the idle dip and it wasn't much, the motor ran strong. Got her warm though I think I could smell either a little oil or PS fliud. I checked everywhere I could for any leaks. Even the transmission; just normal buildup. He said the car had been sitting there for a few days and there were no spots on the ground. Clutch felt good in all gears. He really didn't know the value of these cars so I said a decent one could go for 6-6.5 where I really nice one could fetch anywhere between 10-13k. I say its in pretty good shape for 121K.

But don't forget he still has to ship it to the East Coast. Did you find out when the timing belt was last changed?

So I guess tried to sell on auction and didn't succeed since car back to show room, as secretary told me today. so I'm awipaiting call from mng about the car if we can get deal done.
I want to ask you about idle dip what is it going wrong with that? Fuel pump, throttle problem, air mass sensor? Thanks
