Will these replace the plastic sills, or go over them? And will the finish be brushed, polished, or what? Someone here made a run of aluminum sills last year, they were raw/unfinished.

I thought they replaced the plastic piece too. They're actually the piece that sits on the painted part in front of the plastic. The part you put your Hand on to get out.

Oooh, thanks for the clarification.

A friend of mine has stainless steel pieces over the black plastic pieces, so my mind went straight to that image.

These pieces are brushed Stainless steel. Stainless steel is more scratch resistant than aluminum.
