Ok, so I order a set of GAZ coil overs for my 1988 951S, got'em 2 week ago. Today I found out the fronts are too short. At least 8 inches.
Anyones here had similar issues?
As far as I was told they were direct fit, but they all said that.

8 inches? Are you sure? Is that with them would up all the way? If they are that short they probably sent you the wrong ones as the springs on our fronts are only around 10 inches.
Unfamiliar with Gaz but looking on their site they look like the Leda's I once had, if they are they will be a good track set-up but really harsh on the road. GL

The Mechanic text me late yesterday.... got them in.... they hang too low. ??
I was looking at GAZ website they recommend 60mm or 2.3 inch minimum hieght. I think he pulled them out of the box and did not extend the shock. Hopefully after corner balancing the ride quality will be OK. I'll kepp the old ones around just incase.

Contact Warren Gazzard directly. I would send him pics as well. I looked into these pretty extensively before I decided on the Bilsteins.

Did you get the telescopic rear set or the full coilovers F/R?

Shocks are in the car, rides is comfortable but the rear spring seems a bit softer, perfect for street. Hopefully I can make it to Barber for December's DE. Need some Toyos now.
