Yes, the guy IS Lyle Simons.
HE has emailed me and said there will be a photo up at the website when he gets the chance.
In the meantime, here is the phase I pic:
(remember, this is the TEST piece, and does not show the level of fit and finish of the final product - just shows placement...)
Ditto for below:
Mention this product to non-list folks you know - I, for one, would like to see a better(larger) quality aftermarket for these cars...

I'm thinkin about getting one of these, but it looks from the picture like it would add a blind spot to your field of vision. At the very least it looks like it would be in the way of my head (I'll look closer at my A-pillar again this evenin after work). What's your opinion on driving with it?

are we going to be able to order these when ever we want? or are they going to be throwing away the mold once they make their one run from it? i would love to buy one, but i just bought a 968 crank and that kinda soaked me for all i'm worth right now.

Hey guys,
I just ordered mine, painted.
Thanks for coordinating this. I hope it works out allright. How about a group purchase on boost and A/F gauges to save us all some $$$. ?
Ciao,
Colin

Hey guys, I just recieved an email saying that the dashes on the airbag cars may be higher/thicker, and therefore the pillar cover may be shorter. So, there is a possibility that you airbag guys (late 944/951 and 968) may have to trim some from the bottom of the pillar cover like the early 944 and 924 guys...
Also, WARNING this will not work on cabriolets! (or so I'm told)
