Default STARTER PROBLEM
MY STARTER KEEPS RUNNING AFTER THE ENGINE HAS ALREADY STARTED. SHOULD I REPLACE THE STARTER OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE?

Check your ignition switch wiring. Some contacts might be sticking.

Also, check your caps lock button. It might also be sticking

Caps lock is the cruise control for cool!

But seriously, I agree with sausagehacker. I had the same problem and it was my 30 year old, 325,000km ignition switch.
