Post Alpine white (L90E) - compounding

I've read that some paints of this era were clear coat and paint combined, rather than painted and then clear coated.
Is the alpine white color one of them? If the car was repainted would the same still hold true?

Reason I'm asking is I noticed a bunch of surface scratches after my car's first snow-storm trek...they're quite annoying...

thanks,
Adrial

Adrial,

Check with Carcareonline.com. The owner "Larry" is a Porsche (944) guy. He can tell (and sell) you what you need & how to get your paint looking good again.

Richard
