Awesome. Any chance there are markings on either the crank or the pistons that will identify if they are indeed 'the good stuff'? I have a feeling we're going to end up doing some bottom end work, but easy identifiers that don't require removing the mains would be nice.

Here you are Healey, here's more about our car: https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...light=chumpcar
Obviously, we used the ChumpCar's "approved $500 car" rule, because buying a few new parts puts you over the $500 LeMons budget. Our goal was to make a reliable car that we could give lots of noobs racing seat-time. So we rebuilt the brakes, replaced the wheel bearings, replaced the CV joints, it needed a new starter and fuel pump, replaced the clutch and we had to rebuild an engine (which, we used parts from 3 other engines... but used new gaskets, seals, bearings, rings, etc.)
With the safety equipment, you can imagine that the price crept over $500. Even ten times that... even more.
