AZ PCA this sunday
#2
Hell, I LIVE in AZ and belong to PCA but I'm not going. I enjoy the technical articles and the available assistance, but most PCA events I have had the pleasure(?) to attend are mostly peopled with folks whose blood is a lot redder than mine (not to mention extra fat wallets).
On the other hand, a few years back when I still had my 924, my wife and I went out for ice cream and were leaning on the front bumper enjoying the weather when a guy in a nearby car says to his wife "Don't even think of talking to them. All Porsche owners are snobs." Even we water pumpers get painted with the same brush!!!!
Cheers!!

Hi Roberto: I think that I will be going to the PCA event this weekend. I might take my 951 but just to let it watch the fast cars. There will be all sorts of people there. Some love to talk about their cars and others are too busy and serious to talk.
Its fun to circulate around talking to people.
How can I recognize you if you go?

Well 3sticks, I could wear my "F**k you BOB!" T-shirt, but I don't know if that would go over well It's a great way to introduce myself, Unless of course their name is Bob to. It would definetly help me quickly see who is cool and who is to busy to talk to me, Filter out anyone who's blood is to thick like the other Bob said above. But seriously though, I won't wear that shirt. I may be in my red NA, Depending on if I have any luck doing the rear wheel bearings or not. BTW Any one got air tools or a 368ftlb torque wrench? I might ride with my roomate. He's a rennlister too. His 951 still isn't in his name so we might get there in his prelude to observe the event. Other than giving my plate number I don't know how to point myself out. How can I recognize you?

Sonny from 20th street? I spend allot of time at 20th street, I thought the guy I always talked to was Larry... I hope I wasn't calling the guy by the wrong name this whole time.
